His Plan

Have you ever been in a situation when you thought you knew exactly how your life would go? You knew when you would complete school, who you were going to marry, at what age you would have children, etc.?

Scripture: Jeremiah 29: 11 (NIV)

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Food for Thought:

Have you ever been in a situation when you thought you knew exactly how your life would go? You knew when you would complete school, who you were going to marry, at what age you would have children, etc.? Me too! I had it all planned out and was pushing towards my goals. I refused to believe that anything or anyone could stop me!

Well, that was not the truth by any means! God had a HUGE plan for me and I was not asked to help construct the plan. Before you were created in your mother’s womb, God had a plan over your life. He created you to be the person that you are today. He did not wait to ask you what you wanted or desired for His unwavering plan is always to prosper you in all things!

Prayer:

Father God, we thank you so much for creating a peaceful future over our lives. We thank you that You know the beginning and the end of the plan. And we know that all things work for the good to them that love the LORD. We stand on your word today and place our hope and trust in YOU. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
